American Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing in Los Angeles After Possible Mechanical Error

An American Airlines Boeing 777 was forced to make an emergency landing at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) on Wednesday night after experiencing a possible mechanical issue.
The flight, which was bound for Washington, D.C., landed safely at around 11:30 p.m. after reporting an issue with one of its engines.
There were no injuries reported among the passengers and crew. The airline is investigating the incident.
This is the second American Airlines flight to make an emergency landing in the past week. On Sunday, an American Airlines flight from Los Angeles to Kansas City made an emergency landing in Kansas City, Missouri, after one of its engines caught fire.
The airline has not released any information about the cause of either incident.
